What is Cleaning in Place and How Does it Work ?

When cleaning lines in process equipment using CIP, the correct fluid velocity must be achieved to obtain good cleaning.

Laminar flow, from velocity below 1.5m/sec does not give good cleaning charactetistics.

What is required is turbulent flow at velocities between 1.5-2.1 m/sec. There is NO GAIN at velocities above 2,1 m/sec.

In order to maintain the perfect velocity, we need a flow meter which meet with sanitary standard especially in Food & Beverage Industry.

The FLUXUS F601 is the portable clamp-on flow meter of choice for servicing and maintenance activities, the control and auditing of measurement points not covered by permanent meters, or even the temporary replacement of permanently installed flow meters.

The FLUXUS F601 is measurement ready in less than 5 minutes, including the measurement of the pipe wall thickness, the connection of the transducers to the transmitter, the parameterization of the flow meter and finally the mounting of the transducers.

Tulisan ini sebenarnya saya sadur dari artikel asli berbahasa inggris yang berjudul "GAS CORRECTION FACTORS FOR THERMAL-BASED MASS FLOW CONTROLLERS", jika ingin melihat versi bahasa aslinya silahkan mengunjungi website http://www.mksinst.com/docs/UR/MFCGasCorrection.aspx
